Respite Care Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respite Care Manager to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our respite center, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.
The Respite Care Manager will lead a diverse team of clinical support staff, including case managers, respite assistants, peer recovery support specialists, security personnel, transportation staff, and dietary services workers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all staff members have the resources and support they need to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members as needed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff members
- Maintain accurate work schedules for assigned staff while adhering to approved budgetary guidelines
- Oversee the preparation, submission, and approval of timecards for assigned staff
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and duties by assigned staff
- Participate in direct patient-guest services, including triage, assessments, clinical evaluations, and other related care per licensure
- Perform accurate, timely, legal, and ethical documentation
- Maintain relevant education and training to support clinical services
- Participate in regular process improvement workgroups to identify areas of opportunity and implement sustainable change
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current Maryland RN license from an accredited institution
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association and Naloxone Administration
- At least 4 years of experience in a medical environment
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a relevant field
- Emergency or Behavioral Health/Substance Recovery experience is a plus
- Proficient use of technology with typing and data entry skills, and ability to quickly learn relevant systems
- Strong mastery of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking abilities
- Spanish bilingual is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including service recovery, conflict resolution, and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Demonstrated interest in working with an underserved population
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and clinicians
- Requires a current Maryland state driver's license
We offer a competitive salary range of $44.56-$69.07 per hour, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and more.
