As a Management Liability Underwriter, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our vision of being the best company serving independent agents.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite, price, and negotiate accounts for Management Liability products, including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Liability (ERISA)
- Participate in product development, including coverage form creation, ratemaking, and underwriting guidelines
- Monitor product results and develop ideas to increase productivity and profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with producers and agencies
- Provide high-level service and conduct marketing visits with underwriters and admitted lines counterparts
- Train and educate the CSU Underwriting team as a subject matter expert
- Work collaboratively and independently with a high level of authority and judgment
- 5-7 years of prior Management Liability underwriting experience with a carrier, broker, or MGA (preferred)
- Candidates with a carrier background will be given preference
- Bachelor's degree (or commensurate work experience)
- RPLU, RPLU+, ASLI, or CPCU designation (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (preferred)
