Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as Senior Clinical Research Professionals in the Department of Radiology. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate clinical research projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in protocol development, providing input into descriptions of routine research processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Radiology Imaging Services Core Lab to develop administrative duties, including billing and scheduling, to support clinical research functions.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clinical centers in multi-center research studies, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
  • Develop study materials, including training imaging sites and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and testing of trial/study imaging infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Ensure study protocol compliance, monitoring and reporting on progress to stakeholders.
  • Screen, recruit, and obtain informed consents for clinical trials/studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform QA/QC of imaging data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist study/trial team with various research-related tasks, including data collection and entry.
  • Utilize proprietary software for image analysis and segmentation, ensuring efficient and accurate results.
  • Help the study/trial team in preparation of data for DSMB, manuscripts for publication, and/or presentation at national meetings.
  • Collect and maintain regulatory documents from subjects, assisting in preparation of required regulatory forms and documentation according to protocol.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, biology, engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirements.
  • One year of related experience in a medical, academic, or radiology/neurology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher training.
  • Working experience in a medical, academic, or radiology/neurology environment.
  • Experience with using RedCap.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good follow-up, and judgment and prioritize.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with staff, physicians, nurses, managers, trial sponsors, and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively for reading and writing e-mail, letters, Manual of Operations, Case Report Forms, and other reports or company documents.
  • Analyze information and solve problems relating to imaging and on case report forms.
Work Environment
