Clinical Research Coordinator, Radiology Department

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Senior Clinical Research Professionals in the Department of Radiology. As a leading medical school, we are committed to training best-in-class healthcare professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate clinical research projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in protocol development, providing input on routine research processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Radiology Imaging Services Core Lab to develop administrative duties, including billing and scheduling.
- Serve as a primary contact for clinical centers in multi-center research studies, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop study materials, training imaging sites and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and testing of trial/study imaging infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure study protocol compliance, monitoring and reporting on progress.
- Screen, recruit, and obtain informed consents for clinical trials/studies, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control of imaging data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Assist study/trial teams with various research-related tasks, including data collection and entry.
- Utilize proprietary software for image analysis and segmentation, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Prepare data for DSMB, manuscripts for publication, and presentations at national meetings, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Collect and maintain regulatory documents from subjects, assisting in preparation of required regulatory forms and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare, biology, or engineering.
- Seven years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirements.
- One year of related experience in a medical, academic, or radiology environment.
- Master's degree or higher training in a relevant field.
- Working experience in a medical, academic, or radiology environment.
- Experience with using RedCap, a web-based application for managing research data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, physicians, nurses, managers, trial sponsors, and colleagues.
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and prioritize tasks, with a strong focus on flexibility and adaptability.
