Job Summary

Chase Staffing - Greenville, SC is seeking a Medical Scribe to join their team. As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters, maintaining patient records, and supporting healthcare providers in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany healthcare providers into patient examination rooms to document encounters.
  • Update patient records, including medical history, physical exams, and review of systems.
  • Document procedures performed by healthcare providers.
  • Successfully navigate electronic medical records systems to input documentation.
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to office standards.

Requirements:

  • Multi-task efficiently and effectively.
  • Work under pressure and within time restraints.
  • Remain calm and effective in a busy, stressful environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent listening skills.
  • Proficient in computers and keyboarding.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Use of hands and fingers to touch, handle, and feel.
  • Talking and hearing.
  • Repetitive movements.
  • Light to moderate physical effort.

Compliance:

  • Demonstrate compliance with established system and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to job requirements regarding PPD testing, licensure, certification, and assigned training.
