Equipment Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Order and obtain necessary materials and parts for service and repair
- Ensure all equipment is properly lubricated and cleaned
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
- Participate in and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors in a high-speed production facility
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 15 feet high
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Experience with Husky Injection machines and/or Sidel and/or Krones machines
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals
- Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and short notice
- Lock Out / Tag Out
- Bloodborne Pathogen
- Hearing Conservation / PPE
- Right to Know / Hazardous Communication
- Emergency Evacuation
- Ladder Safety / Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry
- Forklift Safety
- HACCP / GMP
