As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices.
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
