Stock Control Specialist Position at a Dynamic Organization

Title: Stock Control Specialist

Position Summary:

The Stock Control Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining precise inventory levels within our facility. By performing regular inventory audits, identifying discrepancies, and driving process enhancements, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the accuracy of our stock. Your responsibilities will also include organizing storage areas and ensuring adherence to First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain the accuracy of raw materials, components, work-in-progress, and finished products.
  • Ensure proper FIFO management and organization of the warehouse.
  • Conduct cycle counts according to the established ERP schedule.
  • Perform physical inventory checks as required.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies through recounts when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis.
  • Audit inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Guarantee accurate labeling of materials for traceability.
  • Assist with special projects related to inventory management.
  • Support analysis of slow-moving and obsolete inventory and uphold safety protocols.
  • Engage in additional assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory management.
  • Over 3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Understanding of warehouse and production floor transactions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
