About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SBA Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Old National Bank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for supporting the entire SBA loan portfolio and working closely with internal and external partners throughout the post-closing loan lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review SBA loan servicing requests, ongoing servicing requirements, and modification requests in collaboration with the SBA, SBA Operations Team, and Special Assets Group.
  • Partner with clients and Relationship Managers to guide them through the SBA servicing process, ensuring effective communication and facilitation.
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure clients' compliance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on servicing actions.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit history, and collateral documentation to assess credit risk for new or renewal loans.
  • Stay up-to-date with SOP changes and maintain proficiency in SBA SOP requirements and Bank policies.
  • Maintain productive relationships with the SBA Operations Team, other Bank lines of business, and support groups.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred) or HS diploma/equivalent.
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial loan processing or related experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in SBA lending.
  • Advanced knowledge of SBA 7a guaranteed, 504, and Express loan program requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to read the audience.
  • Methodical thinker with excellent time management skills.
  • Client-focused aptitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
