Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at SERVION GROUP. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing, creating, and performing quality control audits of mortgage servicing. You will work closely with the servicing team to ensure compliance with mortgage servicing requirements and maintain high levels of service to management, employees, clients, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly and quarterly mortgage servicing audits
  • Support the servicing team by completing reviews and citing accurate, concise, and constructive audit exceptions
  • Analyze individual loan files and determine compliance with federal and state regulations as well as lender and investor guidelines
  • Provide quality loss mitigation, early payment default, and other delinquent/default loan servicing reviews
  • Follow QC policies and procedures to ensure compliance with scopes of work
Requirements
  • Knowledge of policies, principles, and practices of mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and servicing
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan servicing documentation
  • Ability to multi-task between analytical projects and adapt to modification of the work flow
  • Ability to prioritize in a high volume, high paced dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • FICS, DMI, and/or Encompass experience
  • Mortgage servicing experience
  • Red flag/fraud investigation experience
  • Experience researching rules and regulations, i.e., utilizing AllRegs
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years mortgage servicing or QC servicing experience
