Role Overview

This position plays a crucial role in driving expansion and growth within the Employee Benefits sector. If you are enthusiastic about establishing and nurturing a territory to leave a lasting impact, this opportunity is tailored for you. As part of OneAmerica Financial's long-term growth strategy in Employee Benefits, you will be responsible for developing and managing a designated geographic area. This role involves cultivating significant business relationships with brokers and other influential entities to broaden the distribution of OneAmerica Financial's Employee Benefits offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain Key Broker Relationships
  • Enhance the OneAmerica Brand by ensuring a strong, visible presence in the assigned territory
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Close Employee Benefit transactions
  • Identify new opportunities and guide them from prospecting to closure
  • Meet activity and revenue targets
  • Conduct sales and product seminars as needed
  • Manage the assigned territory to achieve net quote activity levels that align with sales objectives
  • Utilize Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data effectively to enhance market presence and boost sales
  • Create a strategic plan to meet case activity targets in line with our core strategy

Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with brokers and experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life
  • Proven sales production within the assigned territory, achieving satisfactory results with OneAmerica/AUL products
  • Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
  • Advanced ability to formulate strategies and business plans, successfully delivering on set objectives
  • Excellent presentation and consultative selling abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with targeted prospects
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Life and Health license required
  • Prior experience in Employee Benefit Sales is essential

Compensation:

Competitive base salary along with guaranteed incentive compensation.
