Parkview Public Safety Officer

As a Public Safety Officer at Parkview Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our community while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical security for all Parkview owned buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Administer nonprofessional services to assist patients and their families
  • Enhance the patient experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment
  • Perform general safety and security duties, including foot and vehicle patrol, escort functions, and data collection
  • Assist with the Samaritan Crew and air crews from other medical services
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Associates degree in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and current CPR certification
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program certification
  • Computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills
