Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development:

Cost Management and Inventory Valuation:
- Evaluate the impact of procurement decisions on product availability.
- Manage the procurement budget, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving measures.
- Optimize inventory valuation to align with financial objectives and business strategies.
- Enforce cost-control practices and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all procured items meet established quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Participate in audits and inspections to uphold industry compliance.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Employ data analysis tools to monitor purchasing trends, inventory valuation, and supplier performance.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, inventory metrics, and cost efficiencies.
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to enhance procurement and inventory processes.
Team Leadership:
- Guide and mentor the procurement team, offering support to achieve departmental objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training and development.
- Promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the food service sector.
