About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Recovery Solutions. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for admission, continuing care, and discharge of patients, including completing initial psychiatric assessments, developing and updating individualized treatment and discharge plans with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Prescribe psychotropic drugs and other modalities, follow up and monitor tests and consultations, provide education and diagnosis to patients and families, and supervise overall medical care received by patients.
  • Conduct daily rounds, complete treatment and discharge summaries, and ensure proper documentation of all services provided in the patient's medical record.
  • Participate in performance improvement and other activities, including attending department meetings, assigned workgroups, and committees, and continuing professional development through in-service education, workshops, conferences, and self-study.
Requirements
  • Education: A MD from an accredited university.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year experience in clinical psychiatry.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed in the state of practice. Board certified or eligible in psychiatry.
