Leadership Opportunity in Med Surg Nursing

This is a leadership role within the Med Surg department at Saint Luke's Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and staff development. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision on a shift basis, including coordination and assignment of patient care, unit staffing, and leadership support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assign patient care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Function as a unit patient flow coordinator, facilitating admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Coordinate unit staffing for next shift with the Director/Clinical Manager, Coordinator, and/or House Officer
  • Provide supervisory input into department staff evaluations and performance reviews
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • 1 year RN experience
  • Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a RN
