About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading treatment planning, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medication as necessary.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary treatment team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, including quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education and training.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to work under stress and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • MD from an accredited university.
  • At least one year of experience in clinical psychiatry.
  • Licensed in the state of practice and board certified or eligible in psychiatry.
