Service Technician for Semiconductor Equipment

Compensation: $28-$30/hr based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts on-site maintenance and repair of semiconductor manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnoses and resolves equipment malfunctions.
- Keeps accurate records and generates reports as necessary.
- Collaborates with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to reduce equipment downtime.
- Procures and installs necessary components.
- Responds to urgent service requests as needed.
- Trains customer operating staff on system functionality and upkeep.
- Implements upgrades and modifications to machinery as required.
- Stays updated on equipment and tools through relevant training and literature.
- Responsible for the maintenance and security of company assets, including vehicles and tools.
- Maintains professional conduct to uphold credentials for customer site access.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% initially (with 23 months of shadowing on various sites).
- Position based in Polar, MN after training.
- Day shift availability.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
- Strong customer interaction skills are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with relevant tools are required.
- Comprehensive understanding of technical challenges related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of company equipment is necessary.
