Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of personnel engaged in the production of gloves and related apparel, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and uphold a safety-first culture within the manufacturing environment.
  • Guide a team of production staff by establishing clear objectives, offering support, and cultivating a constructive workplace atmosphere.
  • Perform regular quality checks on products to confirm adherence to specifications and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly production targets and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate daily team meetings to align on goals and progress.
  • Assign daily tasks to all team members in the sewing and knitting departments.
  • Drive and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the training process for new hires.
  • Identify and resolve production challenges effectively.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding of production scheduling processes.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in managing huddle board activities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Preferred: Associate Degree

Language Requirement: Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
