Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech Room Specialist. The Tech Room Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with handling intel-based servers, including Lenovo (ThinkSystem) and IBM (formerly System x) systems. This includes processing builds and tear downs, organizing and maintaining inventory, conducting hardware testing and troubleshooting, and coordinating logistics for product delivery. The Tech Room Specialist will also provide technical support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process builds and tear downs of intel-based servers, including Lenovo (ThinkSystem) and IBM (formerly System x) systems
  • Organize and maintain inventory of hardware components and systems
  • Conduct hardware testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Coordinate logistics for product delivery and installation
  • Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery and support


Requirements

  • Experience with handling and troubleshooting intel-based servers, specifically Lenovo (ThinkSystem) and IBM (formerly System x) systems
  • Knowledge of storage systems and related hardware
  • Proficiency in conducting hardware testing and troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Previous experience in a data-center or IT hardware environment is a plus
