Veterinary Support Specialist

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hospital support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the entire hospital on a daily basis, including exam rooms, medical supplies, and laundry.
- Restock and organize medical supplies, ensuring that our doctors and technicians have the necessary materials to provide exceptional patient care.
- Assist with sterilization of medical equipment and surgical instruments, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Check in inventory efficiently and assist in maintaining necessary cleaning materials in stock.
- Provide animal handling and restraint support, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
- Assist doctors and technicians with medical treatments, tests, restraint, and procedures, providing exceptional patient care.
- Support receptionists with filing and basic charting, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Commit to advancing your skill set, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in veterinary care.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to different roles as needed.
- Ability to adjust to changes in the environment and handle stress in a calm manner.
- Team player with patience and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
