Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Medix. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting patient samples via venipuncture or capillary collection, ensuring accurate identification, labeling, and aseptic technique.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process patient samples, adhering to strict quality control measures and maintaining aseptic technique.
  • Ensure positive patient experiences through effective communication and timely sample collection.
  • Perform specimen processing, including centrifugation, transportation preparation, and paperwork.
  • Investigate and report patient safety incidents, medical errors, and potential risks, supporting corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as a Phlebotomist
  • Phlebotomy Certification (NHA, AMT, ASCP, NPA)
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Comfortability traveling to other locations on an as needed basis
