Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomy Specialist on our Inpatient Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services. Under general supervision, you will prepare, collect, log, and label specimens for testing, perform pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens, and register patient information and orders laboratory tests in our computer system. You will also arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff. Responsibilities:
Prepare, collect, log, and label specimens for testing
Perform pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens
Register patient information and orders laboratory tests in our computer system
Arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or higher
Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours
