Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective resolution to customer concerns and escalate to appropriate level when necessary.
- Communicate complex information efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our clients.
- Strive for first call resolution to provide best-in-class service.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; some college is a plus.
- A current property and casualty insurance license.
- One or more years of customer service-related experience.
- One or more years of insurance sales/service experience desired.
- A strong technical background/ability to multi-task in several systems at once.
- A willingness to learn new material and systems/applications.
- A dedication to providing a positive customer experience.
- An ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone.
- Accountability and reliability.
This position is either hybrid (3 days in office/2 days at home) if one lives near Markel office location or 100% work from home if outside of Markel office location.
Compensation and BenefitsStarting pay ranges from $20.00/hour based on the candidate's experience, education. Hours are Monday-Friday and possibly some weekends depending on the role. In addition to regular hourly pay, there is an annual Performance Bonus Potential.
