Acute Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of respect and empathy.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Within 90 days of hire, National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
- 1 year RN experience.
