We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Covenant Specialty Hospital. Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute medical conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in acute care nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among colleagues.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Mexico or Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
