About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Navy ERP Financial Analyst to join our team at Input Technology Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert financial analysis and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial reporting and efficiency.
  • ERP Expertise: Utilize Navy ERP's funds management/financial accounting modules, workflows, and transaction codes to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop and generate reports to support financial decision-making and improve the accuracy and usefulness of financial reporting.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, including written and verbal communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve financial discrepancies, including abnormal balances, tie points, reimbursable work orders, unmatched transactions, and journal vouchers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience and minimum seven (7) years of federal financial management experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification is preferred.
  • Security Clearance: Current SECRET (S) clearance or higher.
Preferred Capabilities
  • Familiarity with Navy ERP's funds management/financial accounting modules, workflows, and transaction codes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening.
  • Strong general accounting skills and thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Intermediate to expert Excel knowledge to support generating reports and manipulating data.
