Nursing Assistant I

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant I to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital, clinic, or home health care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign measurements, specimen collection, and personal care.
- Document patient information and report significant changes in patient condition to registered nurses or physicians.
- Assist patients and their families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
- Perform routine clerical functions and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience.
