About This Role

As a key member of the Air Canada team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) team. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of MOC.

Key Responsibilities
  • TRAX Data Entry Support: Provide central point for Line Maintenance on a 24-hour basis for TRAX data entry (Defects) support.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with other Third-party technicians, internal departments, and internal personnel as required to support TRAX updates.
  • Training and Process Management: Maintain up-to-date Training profiles and TRAX & Aircraft Defect Handling processes.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support for TRAX data entry (Defects), enabling positive control and on-time performance.
  • Administrative Functions: Provide administrative functions in Maintenance Operations Control to enable technical dispatch.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide routine Defect update performance reporting, as well as ad-hoc reports required to support the business.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Liaise with MOC Management to proactively respond to MOC staffing administrative requirements.
  • Employee Support: Act as a point of contact with employees for schedules and change notifications.
  • Time and Attendance Management: Responsible for the completion and accuracy of MOC employee time exceptions and to liaise with eServices to communicate employee status and schedules.
  • Training Compliance: Working with software tools, track and report out on MOC employee training status as well as departmental and branch training compliance.
Requirements

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative support, data entry, and communication.
