Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our hotel sales and revenue efforts. As a key member of our VP Management team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and exceeds targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities and close deals through cold calling, on-site visits, and community networking
  • Manage revenue growth, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
  • Lead sales and revenue efforts across multiple hotels, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major group and catering clients to establish and grow market share
  • Support the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget and sales strategy
  • Represent the hotel at industry tradeshows and conferences, adhering to budget and marketing guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and software applications
