The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), dedicated to enhancing revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of clients, from small to mid-market enterprises to large-scale public sector organizations. Our approach is centered around understanding and addressing our customers' most complex challenges, enabling us to craft and implement effective go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial business outcomes.

In this pivotal role within WWSO, you will spearhead the global go-to-market strategy for AWS concerning RISE and BTP. As a leader, you will guide specialists, architects, partners, and account teams worldwide, establishing the standards and direction for addressing customer needs in your area of expertise. Collaborating with technical and business teams across AWS, you will ensure that the voice of the customer informs our product development roadmap. The Worldwide team maintains a comprehensive perspective, crafting plans that empower our technical teams to achieve remarkable results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the go-to-market strategy to synchronize efforts across sales, marketing, partner relations, product development, training, and professional services, thereby accelerating the adoption of your designated technology domain.
  • Utilizing your extensive domain knowledge to create top-tier field enablement and sales strategies.
  • Supporting field teams in developing solutions for high-priority clients.
  • Channeling market insights back to product teams to foster innovation in AWS product roadmaps.
  • Managing reporting and planning cycles for AWS executives regarding the execution of the go-to-market strategy.
  • Exhibiting thought leadership and effectively representing AWS at industry events, conferences, and symposiums.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management.
• More than 10 years of experience working with clients to guide their technology decisions, particularly in cloud, hosted, and managed services within the technology sector.
• At least 6 years of experience in responding to requests for proposals, including requirements analysis and solution development.
• Expert-level understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and RISE with SAP.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with AWS services and their application in modernizing SAP systems.
• Experience in data interpretation and making informed business recommendations.
• Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
