Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain scalable applications utilizing AWS infrastructure.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software deployment process.
  • Employ Java programming to craft high-caliber solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize AWS services such as Step Functions, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation for application architecture and deployment.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and manage containers with Kubernetes.
  • Write infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Oversee, diagnose, and enhance production environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Java development.
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS cloud-native applications.
  • Strong grasp of AWS services and architectures, including serverless computing and microservices.
  • Proficient in DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
  • Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, New Relic, and the ELK stack.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, along with strong teamwork and communication capabilities.

Location:

United States

Compensation:

The national annual base salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $170,000. This range reflects the base salary that GBT anticipates paying for the position. Actual compensation will be determined based on the complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and knowledge.
