About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Northwest Human Services. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with psychiatric conditions, working closely with our primary care team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor medications and provide brief intervention strategies to patients with medical and behavioral health problems.
  • Develop treatment plans and collaborate with medical providers, mental health staff, and other partners to ensure effective treatment for patients with behavioral health disorders.
  • Provide clinical supervision to our clinic nursing staff and ensure that all patients receive high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatrist in the state of Oregon.
  • Three years of work experience and specialized training in the mental health field.
  • Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and treatment for mental health conditions.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments and develop appropriate management/treatment plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team.
