Position Summary: The role involves providing both technical and administrative support to the EOD Training and Evaluation Unit TWO Learning Standards Office (LSO) personnel and Division Instructors. This support is essential during the development of new curricula and the ongoing maintenance of existing programs, ensuring compliance with established directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Subject Matter Expertise to validate both Basic and Advanced Training curricula and associated training materials, ensuring they meet current standards.
  • Administer support for Formal Course Reviews (FCR) and Course Relevancy Reviews (CRR) to guarantee content accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of course technical materials and participate in training site visits to validate course scope and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Assist in the development and review of Knowledge and Performance Test Plans, ensuring grading criteria align with approved courses.
  • Gather and analyze performance test results to aid in the assessment of student knowledge and course validation.
  • Compile course data from various feedback instruments, including student interviews and instructor evaluations, to inform future course revisions.
  • Engage in special projects related to Basic and Advanced Training, including pilot programs and curriculum development initiatives.
  • Participate in instructor evaluations to maintain high standards for course instructor certification.
  • Oversee administrative requirements for staff training and maintain accurate training records.
  • Provide technical assistance in documenting curriculum changes and ensuring compliance with established directives.
  • Support divisions in collecting and reporting training user data and student evaluations.
  • Deliver post-curriculum reports and collate course information for review and improvement.
  • Assist in inputting technical data into relevant software programs to aid in curriculum development.
  • Document course records in the Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) following formal reviews.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in curriculum development and management.
  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Authoring Instruction Materials (AIM II) and Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CETARS).
