Role Overview: In the capacity of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Excelligence Learning Corporation, you will be instrumental in spearheading revenue enhancement and optimizing profitability. This role encompasses oversight of sales, customer service, marketing, analytics, and web development functions. Your strategic vision will be pivotal in broadening sales avenues, accelerating digital advancements, and formulating a cohesive sales and marketing strategy, particularly aimed at growth within the public education sector.

This position is fully in-person and necessitates presence at one of the designated office locations, with significant travel to various Excelligence sites and client engagements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a robust sales strategy to stimulate revenue growth across diverse channels, with a focus on public education systems.
  • Discover new avenues for growth while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and competitive factors.
  • Guide the sales team to meet objectives, enhancing customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Establish sales methodologies, performance metrics, and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and monitor progress towards revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the marketing division, overseeing promotional campaigns and messaging to bolster sales initiatives.
  • Examine market trends and customer insights, utilizing AI and web capabilities to enhance traffic and conversion rates.
  • Encourage collaboration between sales and marketing teams, addressing challenges and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a public-facing representative, cultivating and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles with a background in sales management within public education systems.
  • Strong grasp of AI, marketing principles, and e-commerce deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to drive organizational transformation, promote innovation, and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment, ideally within the educational supplies sector.
  • Results-driven approach with a commitment to surpassing objectives.
