About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Valdez Medical Center. As a member of our acute care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
