Job Overview
The Executive Director, Washington State Green Bank, will be responsible for leading the organization's efforts to promote accessible, equitable, and just investments in climate resilience, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public and/or private investment and development finance, with a passion for a just and equitable clean energy transition.

About Us
Public Sector Consultants (PSC) is a nonpartisan public policy research and consulting firm that contracts with the Washington State Green Bank to provide staffing and management services. We are seeking an experienced executive director to lead our efforts in developing and executing the organization's inaugural strategic plan as directed by the board of directors and with the input of key partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organization's inaugural strategic plan, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
  • Oversee the development, adoption, and execution of the annual plan and budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximum resource utilization.
  • Manage vendors and contracts, providing effective leadership and management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Act as the principal spokesperson for the organization, building strong relationships with elected officials, appointed officials, and major political players in the state.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; preferably a master's degree.
  • Ten to fifteen years of related work experience in public and/or private investment and development finance.
  • Strong background in fundraising strategies, donor cultivation, and securing grants.
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, and manage teams effectively.

Compensation
  • Salary range: $168,480 - $252,720 commensurate with education and experience.
  • Eligibility for company profit share.
