About the Role:

Job Description

The Chief Technologist will be responsible for building executive relationships with customers in the Hi-Tech vertical across all five verticals in APAC. This role includes supporting the Ansys CTO's engagement with various customers at a CXO level in the Hi-Tech vertical across geographies and contributing to external thought leadership activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with CXO level executives and drive executive alignment with our customers and partners.
  2. Be the Chief Technologist for the Hi-Tech industry for the World Wide sales organization.
  3. Support and complement the Ansys CTO's engagement with various customers at a CXO level.
  4. Work with the ACE organization and external partners in developing solutions and applications.
  5. Collaborate with the global ACE/TAM team to document existing and develop new application briefs/solutions specific to the Hi-Tech industry.
  6. Analyze TRR results for projects and identify solution gaps.
  7. Work with the product organization to support future product R&D directions.
  8. Drive marketing activities in each of these verticals.
  9. Create compelling collateral and messaging for high-tech solutions.
  10. Consolidate existing relationships and expand Ansys's reach within the Hi-Tech vertical.
  11. Attend BU solution planning, partner, and M&A reviews on behalf of the Hi-Tech vertical.

  • Strong technical expertise in the Hi-Tech industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in a similar role or industry.
