Experience:

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of expertise in counterintelligence (CI) analysis, having served as a primary case agent in CI case management within governmental agencies.

A comprehensive understanding of CI methodologies, analytic standards, and integrity, along with tools and techniques, is essential. A deep knowledge of adversarial strategies and collection interests is also necessary. Specialized skills, including regional expertise, fluency in foreign languages, and knowledge of emerging scientific and technological research, are highly valued.

The candidate should exhibit exceptional oral and written communication abilities and a proven track record of delivering high-quality outputs under significant pressure to meet stringent deadlines.

Demonstrated, up-to-date knowledge of the mission, structure, and key intelligence initiatives of the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC), along with tactical analysis supporting CI investigations, is required. A thorough understanding of international political, economic, and military dynamics affecting U.S. national security policy is crucial.

Core analytical competencies, including critical thinking and strong collaborative skills, are expected.


Education:

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a field relevant to geopolitical or national security studies is required.

Advanced degrees such as a Master's Degree, Juris Doctor, or equivalent, along with proficiency in foreign languages (e.g., Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, or similar languages), are highly desirable.


Responsibilities:
As a Senior Counterintelligence Analyst, the candidate will undertake specific duties, including but not limited to:

Evaluating foreign intelligence (FI), international terrorist, and technological collection threats aimed at DOE personnel, resources, science and technology (S&T), facilities, and programs.

Generating CI products, including national security analyses and policy recommendations for internal circulation within DOE and external dissemination across the USIC.

Leveraging existing liaison relationships within the USIC to enhance research and analytical objectives and goals of the Program.

Collaborating with the Program Director to facilitate the integration of field and headquarters analysis.

Delivering presentations that effectively communicate ideas, facts, conclusions, estimates, and projections to various DOE and USIC personnel.
