Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will serve as Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer (CIO); specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducting CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex.
  • Working closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities.
  • Serving as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility.
  • Providing case-related updates to the Senior Counterintelligence Office, facilities senior management, and other DOE CI executives.
  • Providing CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.
  • Serving as primary point of contact with scientific community departments within the DOE complex for the purpose of proactively mitigating foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Q Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a CI Officer/agent conducting typical CI program activities to include CI inquiries and/or espionage investigations.
  • Must have experience as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at the DOE, FBI or DOD and must have advanced interviewing and elicitation techniques.
  • Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Functional computer literacy and be proficient in common computer and network applications.
  • Requires individual to have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
