Program Associate Job Opportunity

The Ruderman Family Foundation is seeking an experienced and creative professional to join our team as a Program Associate. This role offers the opportunity to capitalize on the organization's mission and history, while strengthening and expanding our program and grant activities.

About the Role

  • We are looking for an individual who can engage stakeholders in promoting inclusion nationally and globally.
  • This includes helping to develop quality programs and initiatives, delivering at a fast pace, and developing and leading comprehensive, impactful, and innovative programs and grants.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of programs and grants to ensure proper planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • This role also involves direct and indirect communication with key service populations to inform program development and improvement.
  • The Program Associate will represent the organization at professional conferences, association meetings, community meetings, and related events.
  • Additionally, they will draft program budgets in concert with the Business Manager and manage program expense budget.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 4 years of work experience in the philanthropic field and 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • The ideal candidate should have skills in developing educational programs and training, advanced research and writing skills, and experience in budget development and fiscal management.
  • Prior experience working with philanthropic organizations and a strong understanding of social justice issues would be beneficial.
