Job Summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Pulmonary Critical Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical services to patients, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care within the scope of practice established by State Law.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care within the scope of practice established by State Law.
  • Consult and collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and agencies to provide coordinated services to patients and their families.
  • Document services according to established policies and procedures, including preparation of the medical record and billing documents.
  • Perform procedures and treatments as necessary, according to established protocols.
  • Recommend and order treatment procedures as needed by the patient.
  • Promote patient wellness by providing patient education.
  • Utilize advanced clinical knowledge or experience to resolve patient questions and meet patient needs.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and safety functions.
  • Assist in identifying and ordering needed supplies.
  • Remain informed and compliant with current Health System, Warren Clinic, OSHA, and HIPAA policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an approved program in Health Science or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
Working Relationships

This position requires working directly with patients and/or customers, as well as internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction.
