Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Alpha Executive Search. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities Management: Proactively maintain facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, GMP, HACCP, RMP, and PHA.
  • Equipment Reliability: Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Cost Management: Maintain P&L responsibility over maintenance department cost centers and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment between the maintenance department and other departments, and methodically plan maintenance department activities during down days for maximum impact.
  • Scheduling: Review production schedules to determine appropriate maintenance support and adjust schedules with little notice as needed.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Generate PM documents for all equipment and enforce their use to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of 10 years of related experience in a maintenance and manufacturing environment, preferably in a USDA plant.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronic, PLC equipment, boilers, and facilities.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a strong track record of success in a maintenance and manufacturing environment.
