Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Plastic Executive Recruiters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance staff and ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and disruptions in production processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safety and environmental compliance is maintained.
  • Optimize labor utilization and develop training programs to improve employee skills.
  • Pursue operational improvements to enhance quality, production, and cost reduction.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, assign duties, and manage to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies.
  • Develop Capex Plans and work with Operations and Management on equipment improvements.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities and promote a culture of reliability-based maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Strong electrical background and high school diploma required.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Maintenance Programs and a maintenance culture of reliability-based maintenance.
  • Effective leadership skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with PLC's, gearboxes, and motors.
  • Ability to lead by example and foster an environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork, and Accountability.
