We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team in a per diem capacity. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and performing high-quality MR studies on-site and remotely.

About the Role

This is a per diem opportunity that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with radiologists, patients, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MR studies while maintaining patient safety and adhering to aseptic injection techniques.
  • Operate multiple MR systems, ensuring optimal image quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, radiologists, and team members to address concerns and resolve issues.
  • Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants, both on-site and remotely.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Registration as a technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS.
  • MR registration with R.T.(MR) ARRT or ARMRIT.
  • CPR certification.
  • The COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in MRI technology and registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT are highly desirable.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $62,000 per year, plus benefits.

Working Conditions

This role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs. You must be able to see, speak, and hear to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
