Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems and components in commercial construction projects.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and practices on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and project progress.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a commercial construction electrician.
  • Valid electrician's license and relevant certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other trades and project stakeholders.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Own tools and transportation are required.
