Job Title: Residential Construction Electrician - Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Electrician with 3-5 years of experience to take on a leadership role as a Team Lead. As a Team Lead, you will oversee a team of electricians, manage residential construction electrical projects, and ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians on residential construction sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Review blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Delegate tasks and manage team performance to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and project managers to address any concerns and provide updates on project progress.
- Mentor and train junior electricians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a residential electrician, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Valid electrician's license and relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, construction practices, and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Own tools and transportation are required.
