Lead Tax Specialist Position:
In the capacity of a Lead Tax Specialist within our North American division, you will be instrumental in facilitating tax compliance and accounting operations. The perfect candidate will be adept at independently resolving tax-related challenges, providing strategic solutions, and demonstrating exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly prepare federal and multistate income tax submissions.
- Calculate quarterly tax obligations and oversee tax timelines.
- Draft various tax documentation and assist in submission processes.
- Oversee mid-year and year-end tax provisions while managing tax accounts.
- Conduct thorough tax research and deliver solution-oriented insights.
- Support income tax examinations and initiatives for process enhancement.
- Engage in collaborative projects with both internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's in Taxation is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate taxation.
- Expertise in tax compliance and accounting practices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with ONESOURCE Income Tax software is beneficial.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Compensation Package:
The annual salary range for this position in White Plains, NY is between $100,000 and $120,000. The salary offer is influenced by various factors and includes eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
