Position Overview:
The Director of Customer Experience Platforms will spearhead the CX practice area, focusing on the design of processes and the integration of marketing and platform data into comprehensive, impact-oriented solutions. This role demands a solid technical grasp of marketing technology (martech), advertising technology (adtech), cloud solutions, and customer experience platforms, along with the capability to lead and mentor a team of specialists dedicated to delivering solutions, whether it involves implementing advanced analytics tools, establishing taxonomy and naming conventions, or strategizing the utilization of technology for first-party data activation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically develop client solutions aimed at achieving omnichannel and hyper-personalized experiences, understanding the significance of both detailed and aggregated data and the technologies that can be utilized.
- Provide thought leadership and best practices regarding the role of AI and emerging CX platforms to enhance the skills of the Blend360 team and elevate our clients' capabilities.
- Navigate intricate enterprise client data ecosystems to extract essential requirements and dependencies from existing configurations, identifying new opportunities for technical consulting.
- Efficiently collaborate with a diverse team, including Data Engineers and Data Scientists, to implement solutions that merge cloud and on-premises data sources, organizing data logically to align with business objectives.
- Oversee the deployment of martech, adtech, and CX platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and data flows.
- Work closely with marketing, IT, and analytics stakeholders to comprehend business needs and translate them into actionable business requirements, ensuring alignment with positive business outcomes.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to a diverse team with various technical backgrounds, ensuring adherence to established processes throughout the development lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, managing delivery challenges with appropriate escalation and de-escalation strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for sales, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform and data integrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in martech, adtech, and CX platform architecture and data integration.
- Proven success in designing solutions for complex enterprise organizations.
- Strong technical expertise in martech platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud), adtech solutions (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, Trade Desk), and CX platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Pega).
- Extensive experience in building and articulating complex data and technology integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of data management, integration, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated history of successfully leading technical projects from inception to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in unifying multiple identities into a single view.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in relevant martech, adtech, and/or CX platforms.
- Experience with AI and machine learning applications in marketing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
