Cleveland Clinic's Medina Hospital is a leading-edge healthcare organization that provides world-class patient care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident to join our 3 South General Medicine Unit, a 32-bed unit specializing in general medical surgical care and observation for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited school of professional nursing and current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required. The successful candidate will participate in a residency core curriculum, provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach, and establish and/or revise priorities for patient care. The caregiver will also respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. The position requires a day/night rotation of 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM – 7:30AM. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
