Surgical Charge Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our Surgery team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses in providing patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and unit activities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire
- 1 year nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
